An escape plot at a Brazilian prison was foiled when an accomplice was spotted outside the prison acting suspiciously. The accomplice was also literally spotted.
An unnamed cat was taken into custody with saws, drills, and a cell phone taped to it’s body. The cat has been handed over to animal control and refuses to talk.
Brazilian authorities have made no progress in the investigation because they are Brazilian authorities. But we know there is a suspect who armed the cat on the outside, and an inmate who helped plan this on the inside.
Has Matlock not been translated into Portuguese yet? The way to identify them seems so obvious. Release the cat in the prison yard and see what inmate it runs to and gets friendly with. That is your man. Make the Griffith Estate proud.
